In our busy, stress-filled lives it can be challenging to find periods for relaxation or rejuvenation. Experience art as a tool for facilitating a new sense of relaxation-the relaxation that allows you to connect with your own unique rhythms. Through the creative process we will explore clay, collage and painting in a safe environment free of criticism and critique. Together they will provide you with a creative experience that will expand your beliefs beyond what you felt were possible, bringing greater clarity in all areas of your life. You will be invited to bring favored images and objects to travel with you on this journey. Gratitude and Creative Expression can assist us in living a richer life and realizing our dreams. Send your intentions out to the world on your own set of Prayer Flags. For centuries, Tibetan Buddhists have recorded symbols, mantras or requests on small "prayer flags" placed where wind or spirit could carry the energy of these sacred intentions. What do you want your life to include? Who do you want to be, do or have? What do you want for you and your world? Intention is a powerful tool in leading you to your heart's desire. Throughout this workshop you will be guided in understanding and clarifying your intentions. As you consider your intentions you will use the magic of Process Painting to paint your own set of prayer flags. No previous art experience is necessary. Bring only your willingness to play in an environment filled with the deepest respect, while free of criticism or critique. (Group or individual classes on request.)

Assemblage and Collage for Process classes encourage the use of everyday objects as art materials. Create from a memory, from a story that has stayed with you, a story you wrote, a dream, or simply relax into your own spontaneous expression. Expect to be amazed at what comes forth! You will be guided and supported as you bring your found objects, collage elements, mementos, paint, paper, textiles and other diverse elements to create a one of a kind display box. Boxes and many materials will be provided. No art experience is necessary. As always, no criticisms or critiques are permitted to encourage a safe space for self-expression. Experienced artists creative "sparks" will be reignited!
